Description - The Brighton Belle service ran from 1934 to 1972 using All-Pullman third-rail electric multiple units built by Metro-Cammell. One of these attractive 5-PUL units is seen passing one of the Southern Railway's Art Deco signalboxes, showing headcode 4 for a London Victoria to Brighton fast service.
This is a Stock poster, where the image would have been printed seperately, with the wording added later in letterpress form. This way, a part-pictorial poster image could be used for multiple advertising purposes.

Size - Double Royal (approx 40 x 25in or 101.5 x 63.5cm) plus linen border.
