Description - Three charming ink wash images of idyllic life around Chertsey, showing rowing on the River Thames, and walks along the river and through the woods of the Surrey Hills.  This rare London & South Western Railway poster would have been aimed at Londeners, to encourage them to take days out by train or active holidays in the country near to London but well away from the smog and grime. The print code suggests a date of 1922.

Grade: B+, conservation-backed on linen.
Backed on linen as acquired, with slight fold wear and a small paper replacement in the top right corner which appears to have been oversprayed to match. Otherwise an old poster in excellent condition. More detailed photos are available on request if required.
