Description - The overnight international Motorail was introduced in 1958, providing a service from northern England to the continent using the Dover to Calais car ferry. This poster was produced in 1959, to advertise the service available for Summer holidays in 1960.
The fun artwork features hints of cafe awnings, with a car and passenger train coach all within what may be the wheels of a train.
