Description - Eastbourne advertised as the 'Suntrap of the South' with the unusual sight of a young woman in the form of a mermaid with a smiling red sun looking down on her, and some blue waves at the bottom; what is now known as "Midcentury" style.

Kenneth Bromfield - sadly we know nothing about him, other than that he produced a number of posters for British Railways in the 1950/60s and for the GPO.
Eric William Pulford was a British commercial artist, who began his career by painting posters for Rank cinemas around Leeds. He then set up a design studio in London with the assistance of Rank. They became Britain's top film advertising agency. As well as over 1000 film posters, they also produced work for BOAC, and a few posters for British Railways.
