Title - Essex - Finchingfield (nearest station Yeldham) - See Britain By Train.
Location - Finchingfield, Essex, England.
Artist - Edward Wesson RI (1910-1983).
Description - Finchingfield is one of most picturesque villages in Essex, with the poster showing the view across the duck pond and village green, and up Church Hill from the parish church. Wesson's depiction is still very recognisable today. The fact that the nearest station needed to be named suggests that it wasn't very obvious, and the village was never on a railway route.
