Description - The tiny unspoilt hamlet of Little Hampden, in the Chiltern Hills, is almost unchanged since this poster was produced in the 1930s. We are looking from an old barn past the buildings of Manor Farm, and up to the 12th century parish church. The poster was one of many posters produced in the 1930s for country walks and rambles, to encourage city-dwellers to get out to the countryside, in this case using Green Line coaches or the Metropolitan Line.
