Description - A photographic poster from the LNER, showing a selection of wonderful black & white photos depicting the interior and exterior of the former North British Railway's Hotel in Glasgow. The hotel, on the north side of George Square adjacent to Queen Street Station, was originally built in the early 1800s as the Queen's Hotel, until sold to the NBR in 1903. British Rail later sold the hotel in the 1980s.
The LNER produced a number of similar hotel posters in the 1930s, to encourage passengers to do more than just travel by train.
