Title - Northward Bound - King's Cross for Scotland.
Artist - Bernard Louis Myers (1925-2007).
Description - Abstract themes come together to suggest the journey north across Hadrian's Wall, through green fields, past clear signals and towards the blue and white of Scotland. In this way it is very different from most railway advertising posters, which tended to be realistic, kitsch or design-inspired.
