Artist - William Miller Frazer RSA (1864-1961).
Description - Classic 1920s expansive landscape painting with a view from Kinnoull Hill, the spires of the city of Perth in the left middle distance, with the River Tay winding off to the right and a bridge being the central focal point. The open landscape, rolling hills and wonderful sky take up most of the poster. The poster is very much in the same format as LMS ones of the period but it appears that it may have been produced by the town council, for reasons unknown.

More About The Artist:
William Miller Frazer was born in Scone in 1864, and moved to Edinburgh in 1898 where he remained throughout his life. He first exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) in 1884, and did so constantly until 1961.
He mainly painted landscapes and preferred oils as his medium.
