Description - The first Blue Pullmans were introduced on the London Midland Region in 1960, followed by the Western Region in 1961. This poster was produced in 1961 showing photographic images of the exterior of the trains and the timetables for the services "The South Wales Pullman", "The Bristol Pullman" and "The Birmingham Pullman".
The trains were not fully successful and only lasted 13 years in service, but they did help to inspire the HSTs which are still in service today.
