Description - An early photographic poster showing the building and it's position on the coast. The Great Western Railway (GWR) opened its St Ives branch line in 1877 and leased the Tregenna Castle as a hotel the following year. They purchased the hotel outright in 1895.
The hotel is a Grade 2 listed building and still in operation today. In 2021 it is hosting world leaders attending the G7 Summit.
