Everyone seems to be enjoying the outside life in the sunshine. The details are wonderful, with the late 50s cars and even a box-brownie style camera on the table.

Harry Riley was a hugely talented artist who worked in a wide range of media. He is probably best known for the posters that he did for British Railways, BOAC and Quantas and his work now is highly sought-after. He was a member of The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour.
