The black and white etching-style really highlights the size of the Minster towering over the ancient streets below, where it appears to be lit-up. This particular posters seems to only have been produced for the Australia and New Zealand market, and there are known examples for other international markets; but we can find no images to suggest a British version ever appeared.

More About The Artist:
We have to admit to knowing nothing about Schabelsky, other than that he produced the artwork for a number of posters and booklet covers for the LNER around the 1920s/30s. If anyone knows any more we'll be happy to hear.
