Description - A montage of LMS employees all with their varying uniforms and cap badges showing their respective jobs. It worked partly as general publicity for the company by showing how much they did for passengers, and partly as a way of showing potential new employees what a variety of jobs there were available at the company straight after the war.

Septimus Edwin Scott (Sep E Scott) was born in Sunderland.
He studied at the Royal College of Art, and by 1903 was already exhibiting in the Royal Academy. He was a contributor to periodicals and book, including some Ladybird Books.
During WWI he produced propaganda posters, and then continued poster work after the war. Much of his poster work is now highly collectible.
After WWII he was largely involved in drawing historical adventure comic strips.
He produced a number of posters for the LMS, LNER and GWR.
